Latest Design – Red Candy Stripe 4 Panel

Here are the latest visualisations of a glass panel.  This one is the size of two breeze blocks to make it very easy to fit into a wall.  4 fused Candy Stripe pink/red/lavender panels are rotated across a clear 6mm sheet of glass.  The panel is hand made, going through multiple firings in a kiln up to temperatures of 1500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Each panel is made to order and so exact combinations of colours and patterns are totally bespoke.

Exciting News – Glass in a Show Garden

We have exciting news!  Our glass art for the garden will have it’s first public outing at the Royal Horticultural Society Cardiff Show from the 16th-18th April 2010 in Bute Park.

Light Kiln Glass has been asked to produce three pieces of glass art for a show garden by C J Garden Designs.

The current plan is to produce three different pieces – a water feature, a self standing sculpture and a larger wall panel.  The picture above shows some of the sample colour panels that we are producing that may feature in the garden.

16-18 April 2010 · Bute Park, Cardiff Castle, Cardiff
